Julie was born and raised in Raytown, MO before moving her family to Springfield, MO in 2007. She has worked in the legal field since 1998 when she got her first experience as a file clerk. From there, she advanced to the paralegal level and quickly assumed leadership positions. She gained a strong background in Social Security Disability Law while working for J.H. Deans Law Office in Kansas City and Parmele Law Firm in Springfield, MO before joining the Piatchek Law Firm family in May 2015. She is currently the Senior Paralegal and Assistant Business Manager for the firm.
Julie resides in Republic, MO with her children and chihuahua. Julie is a self-described homebody who no longer has the time or energy to develop hobbies. She is a single mom who spends her evenings and weekends schlepping her children to their various sports and activities. While she admits to having no handyman skills, she continues to attempt home renovations while using colorful language when it ultimately fails. She dabbles in gardening and has managed to kill only half of her plants. Julie recently discovered a secret love of archery and is in search of a hoodie in the perfect shade of green. Her ultimate goal in life is to be able to sleep in on the weekend.
