At the Piatchek Law Firm, LLC, we are proud of our management and support staff and the work that they do. Our firm seeks to distinguish itself as the area’s leader in customer service. Meet the friendly faces that make our office great:
Katherine Yoder, Business Manager
Katherine comes from a diverse background in educational, regional, and professional capacities. She has lived all over the Midwest, and attended middle and high school in Delaware before moving to Springfield, MO to attend college at Evangel, and then immediately went on to pursue her MBA at Missouri State University. After which Katherine found herself in Nebraska, working as a manager for Target, or ETL. Eventually, by way of Kansas City, she found herself in Chicago. Leaving retail, she worked for a law firm down town, impacting their efficiencies and billing practices to see a substantial increase in profitability for the partners.
After returning to the Ozarks, in the winter of 2015 Katherine found a home here at the Piatchek Law Firm, where she began work with the goal of making it easier for the attorneys and paralegals to deliver exceptional service to clients, by transitioning to new time and billing software, and continuing to develop a culture of service and excellence in the firm.
In her time away from the office, Katherine can be found surrounded by games and yarn, as an avid table top gamer and knitter. And, if you’re lucky enough – maybe she’ll take a break from that to bake up some sourdough or bagels for you.
Martha Olund, Legal Assistant
I was born in Columbus, Georgia, but have been living in the Springfield area for over 22 years. I like listening to our clients, and I especially enjoy learning about their lives and their families; it makes me feel that I can be a part of their lives while they are here. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, reading, and watching T.V.
Here at Piatchek Law, I greet clients as they come into our office. While they are here, I like helping them feel at home. I believe that at our firm, we help solve clients’ issues and address their needs. It is nice to see how we put our clients’ minds at ease before they leave our office.
